I don't know whats going on but when I turn off the bike and kill switch my tach lights stay on? Its draining battery overnight. Another quick question whats the highest width of tire I can put on this bike? Stock its a 130/80 17 I was hoping to get a bigger tire for the rear 150/80 17 or that would be too wide? Thanks guys.

I'm making the assumption it is a 750 Breva. So stick with the stock size tires. It will handle better. As to the instrument light staying on, there is power at all time to two pins of the dash. There may be bleeding on that circuit. Until you figure out what is going on with the dash pull the 30 amp fuse with the red/white wire leading from it to kill all power. Or you can put in a master kill switch on that line. A schematic for your bike is in the downloads section. Unfortunately there isn't any detail on the internal wiring of the dash.

Thank you i was able to put in a kill switch. I have another question is the instrument cluster just all digital before i take it apart? The RPM's dont work and neither does the speedo. The cluster works it lights up with red and when im in neutral it does light up green. Thanks for you help guys. This is my first italian bike like this im used to working on R1's.

Yes all digital. Cleaning the connection at the back may help. If not see if Carmo can help you. https://www.carmo.nl/index.php?main_page=index

Thank you John for all the help. I know you said that a 130/80/ 17 tire would be best. I have a brand new 140/80 17 tire from a previous bike and i was wondering if its ridable with that tire? I need to replace the rear tire soon and cant really spend the money on new one i have other priorities at the moment i want to take care of first.

Maybe if there is enough clearance. Give it a try. BTW, sizing isn't consistent between manufactures of tires. Measurements can vary by as much as 10mm. So a 130 from one manufacturer may actually measure as small as 120, but from another it could be as wide as 140. Hope you get lucky ad it works for you. Have you checked the date of manufacture the tire you want to use? If it is 5 years old or older you shouldn't use it. https://www.popularmechanics.com/cars/a4047/how-old-are-your-tires-15441034/
