Aloha all my GT boyz, been a long time.
Getting ready to rebuild my 76 Lemans... from afar.
NEED TO FIX/MACHINE MY HEADS: Back in the day, besides doing all the normal SoCal Guzzi headwork;
Port/Flow/Dual Plug and Bigger Valves, I/we did alot of cylinder combustion chamber dome Grinding & Shaping.
That last part has been a torn in my side for the better part of 15 years. I wont go into all the various adjustments
I lived through over the years, nore there headaches.
HERE"S WHAT I NEED: To try and get my "Dome" back to stock or close to stock (I dont mind a little performace shaping)
I'd like to find or at least find out if anyone has ever had thier heads re-built up/filled/reshaped???
Knows a machinist or shop that does just that? But mostly, has it been done before with good results.

Other wise I'll be surfing the digital world for a set of non-chiped matching heads (round), but that wont be such a
small task these days.

Why? If your still reading and must know. All my custom dome reshaping back in the day, was all part of making my 992cc kit work with a longer 80mm stroke, the problem has been, one, my compressions way to high for pump gas, and two, I liked and want to go back to the "stock" stroke of 78mm (loved the way that motor rev'd & road), but to do this and still have decent compression... I must make them cylinder domes "volume" smaller/back to factory specs.

Mahalo, and of course, miss ridding with all you guys.

My SELF Quote of the day; "Them Boyz back at the factory decided on a 78mm strokes that lasted 10 years for a good reason"

What's up el jedi, i thought the alien ship picked you up... Have you called Mark at MGC to see if he has a set of stockers laying around?

Big Jon, been way to long, and yes, living out here 3500 miles from everything...
Feels like I've been taken up in a mother ship, and they planted salt in my brain.
Miss ya big guy, hoping to get back there this winter for some much needed Guzzi ridding.

Havent talked to Mark directly, but have been emailing with Sean back and forth, pre-prepping
this rebuild of my beloved Big Red with him from here. And he hasn't mentioned having any, but then again,
I havent asked. That will be my next email.

Miss ya guyz big time, Aloha, and Mahalo.
