Got it all hooked up, and after spending 1/2 hr fixing a fuel leak i am set to go.
Is the bike supposed to start after hooking everything up ?
I have hooked up the PCV to the laptop but when i open the map file there is nothing there?
There is power to the PCV unit ( green light)
There is no power to the auto tune unit ???? no lights on.
Is the ignition supposed to be on?

i've been doing some diddling around and have spoken to Mike C.
The bike should start but it doesn't. There is fuel pressure and there is spark.
I have gone into the download map section for PCV and there is no Moto Guzzi listed listed. The PCIII lists Guzzi but no Griso. When i open map file it is empty.

Hey Dave, sorry I couldn't be much help..., but Iva bin thinkin.

As I said I always go back to basics. Seems to me that if you have spark and fuel pressure and compression is a no brainer, then all that isn't happening is the injectors aren't getting the squirt message. As these problems are usually turn out to infuriatingly simple, I recon it will turn out to be something not connected up, either electronically in the system or mechanically in the wires.

Not much to go on I know, but perhaps might give some direction to the thinking.

Fuel leak?
So a few things... First, when you plug into the PC-V, it will automatically retrieve the map. You have to select (click on) the left side navigation to see each field, i.e. PC Map, AutoTune AFR & Trim to see the data. I shipped yours pre-mapped for sure. Next step, and most important is to set the Throttle position in the software. This is covered in the User Guide. What does it show on screen currently for throttle position? If the AutoTune is not showing any lights, it isn't working. Check all connections. The bike should start regardless, even if there is no map loaded. You can simply unplug the PC-V injector plugs, and plug the OEM plugs back into the injectors to ensure the bike runs. Be sure the PC-V injector plug pins are seated properly too. Report back.

Thanks Todd, the fuel leak was from a piece of line i had to replace and the clamp was a bit loose.
I now have a flat battery so while it is charging i have been going over the whole process again. It is all connected as per the instructions. Even a novice like me should not be able to get this wrong.
The only deviation i made was to mount the earth cable from the PCV to the same point as the earth for the auto tune as the cable would not reach the battery.
The two posi-taps are secure and the tail light has power.
I did not open the left side navigators because i was following the first point in the instructions which sais click on map file and select a map. I now realise that this is not applicable.
The right hand side of the screen with the settings were all showing zero.
I had a big day yesterday so my head is a bit clearer this morning. Once the battery is charged i will go at it again.

Scrape the paint off the place where you bolted the earth wires on to ensure a good ground contact.
