Wher is the best place to purchase (on-line) a high flow air filter for a 1100 Griso? I have fabricated my own filter retainer (omitting the factory lid) and need a good high performance filter.
Thanks!
Scott

Added pics of BMC filter part# 373/01 (same as Aprilia Tuono) and home made aluminum retainer...
Can't seem to get the pics smaller than .57 meg.
email if you would like a pic.

Hi Samann, when you are done, some pictures and a comment on your findings would be appreciated.

I just spoke to K&N and they were emphatic that they DO NOT make a filter for the Griso...
HHHmmmm....

Looks like maybe the same filter (accidently) fits the Griso as does the Aprilia?
The BMC part number 373/01 also shows to fit the Aprilia Tuono...hhhmmmm

Hey Samann,
What'd you end up with?
I got another airbox off fleebay to play with

Drilled holes in the cover and removed the "snorkel"

K&N I bought was too long (my bad:( dealer said it would fit... I didn't check)

Added some shims so the K&N fit without lifting in the rear

so far, so good:)

I'm surprised at the difference in sound:)
No noticeable performance difference at lower RPMs but higher speeds/RPMs it seems more responsive and gets better fuel economy.
Of course... these are strictly "seat of the pants" observations as I've not had it on a dyno yet bad...

Hi Bushwarrier,
I purchased a washable air filter for my Breva 1100 from Agostini, didnt fancy buying a new filter everytime , straight swap, fitted no problem, also got a crossover at the same time and an RB-02 , all running great. Quick delivery too, only down thing was I had to get an Import licence as the GST took it over NZ$1000:00.
