I have a 2007 cali vintage. Do you guys have a highway peg recommendation. I like Kuryakyn but they seem to be of no assistance. Thanks.

I personally absolutely loath highway pegs, but that’s my hang up I guess.

However, unless you are planning to carve up your lowers (something I would never do) I would just remove the lowers and package them carefully and then measure the engine protection bar diameter and find a generic set you like.

Moto Guzzi is way too small a manufacturer for most aftermarket components to be made specifically for it. Especially one this old.

I have a '07 also and used Kuryakyn highway pegs. you don't need to cut into the lowers at all. They fit behind them no problem. In the summer I remove my lowers and then rotate the pegs so that they are in front of the bars. The bar diameter is 30mm (1 3/16"). The Kuryakyn clamp is a little loose so I used a old bicycle tube as a spacer. 4 pieces are involved, the bar clamp, a 90* extension the foot peg and a connector fom the foot peg to the extension. I'm 5'9" and prefer them in front of the bars.

Excellent thank you for the help. I am 6 ' and finding the stock set up to be a bit cramped. Thanks for the pictures!!

About a year later....just bought an 08 and would like to do the same without removing or modifying lowers. The description above would be great but the 90* extension seems to not exist on this planet (per my web search). Certainly open to suggestions. Thanks.

You are not alone. I reached out to Kurikan and asked for a catalogue. They referred me to

I reached out to Kuryakyn directly and they referred me to rev zilla or JP cycles , I have not contacted them at this point. I would be curious if you can locate the aforementioned parts. Please share. Thanks. Jim
