How do I get to screw under tank eagle?

Ok so I'm still searching for my no start issue after washing the bike ... anyone know how to get the side gas tank panel off after removing the front and back screws? It's pivoting now from under the eagle but how do I get to that?

You have to remove the eagle... it's held on with adhesive tape. You'll need something else to put it back on with. Why would you need to remove the panels?
 
The tank side panels are decorative. There is nothing to be gained by removing them.
You will probably damage the eagles.

I've heard using dental floss behind the eagle is a way to get them off without damaging them
 
Yes the dental floss will work but as asked above, "Why are you removing them?" They do not have to be removed to pull the tank and you get to figure out what kind of adhesive tape and how you are going to cut it to fit to put them back on. If you read the instructions to remove the tank and it said remove the panels it means the black plastic panels on eachnside at the front.
 
I'm just trying the access as many electrical connectors as I can to ensure they're not wet inside but I won't bother in that area then.
