How do I reset the wrench icon?

I just picked up my 2015 Norge from having it's first service done at 900 miles. In my effort to get home before the sun went down (it was a balmy 34 degrees this evening when I picked it up), I didn't notice that the snowflake icon was alternating with the wrench icon until I was almost all the way home. Called the dealer to have them walk me through the procedure to reset the wrench. They said it could be done on some Guzzi's (I guess some have buttons on/near the gauge cluster...mine does not), but was told my bike has to be plugged into their computer to reset the indicator. Not really looking forward to another hour and a half in the cold, but don't really want to wait until the spring. Is there a way to reset the maintenance reminder without bringing it back to the dealer?

Yours and mine (a 2007) service codes are the same: 28315.

My brother has a 2015 Norge and I have reset his using same system as mine.

Your owners manual (and one is uploaded here in the downloads section) tells you how to toggle from "trip 1" to "trip 2" to "mode," etc.

Am up to my proverbial lowest orifice in honey-do's this minute, but will -- unless you figure it out on your own or someone else chimes in with the procedure -- help later today or tomorrow.

I am troubled by a dealer that didn't do that for you or does not know how to talk you through it.

Can't get too upset with the guys at the dealership...they're a pretty new Guzzi dealer. I called after they closed, and the tech that worked on my bike went home...glad they even picked up after closing! They actually called back to see if it was OK to have someone bring the laptop to my house to reset the light...super nice guys.

Good news for them (and me!) is that code is exactly what I needed...maintenance light is reset! Thanks for the assist, Bill!

The best instructions are in the Breva11ServiceMan.pdf in the downloads. Just use the code Bill gave you in stead of the one there. You need to enter the service code to get into the Diagnostics menu. On the list is Reset Service. Select that and you are in business.
