I have removed the tank, side covers, battery so far and I do not see an easy way to remove the entire airbox.
It looks like it might come out if I remove the rear wheel and part of the rear fender just behind the battery.
Has anybody done this and is able to clue me in if this will work?
Or is there an alternative method I am not seeing?

Thanks

Why remove it? The bike will run best with the stock air box. Changing the air filter is a pain, but you still want to run the stock box. If you are dead set on removing it, probably the best way si to remove the frame from the engine. I'll bet the air box is in place before the frame was added during manufacture.

If I have to remove the frame from the engine just to get the airbox out, I don't want it for that very reason alone.
So as far as you know it will not come out the rear with the wheel and inner fender removed?
I was hoping to find out to be able to save my self some unnecessary effort if it is not going to come out that way.

Thanks

You can take alot of it out in front of RH cyl, the body goes out the back w/everything removed plus wheel. A die grinder work quite well to get parts out that are small enough.

After you get the air box out how do you intend to make it run correctly?

I will use the intake tubes that went into the airbox so as to keep the same intake length and then use a tube filter between the 2 tubes.
It works well on all my big block tonti's.
I will construct a breather box for the cyl. head and crankcase vents.

You may find the injection system on the 750 isn't as forgiving. However I hope you get lucky. All Guzzi engines perform best if they can draw from still air which is why they have large air boxes.
