ok, need a little advise here. I am trying to remove the lid to the air box. I have the 4 clips loose but it still feels like something is holding the bottom of the lid down but I don't see anymore clips. Don't want to force it so I need some tips from you guys that have had the lid off.

Thanks, Bob

Bob there is...its called the battery...I have never been able to get the cover out with the battery in place. Seems the cover has to lean toward the battery to come out, and the battery will not let it move far enough to slip up and out.
IF anyone knows another trick...please share!!
Good Luck

I wondered if that was the case but didn't want pull the battery if it could be avoided.

The battery must be removed for sure, and once the clips are clear, you'll have to twist it up and out, pulling the left then the right. There are two fingers (near the '1' below) that hold the bottom/in tight. A bit of a pain to get back in as well.

That make sense that there are two more clips on the bottom. The reason I pulling it off is I'm getting motor oil draining out what I take is the drain hose from the air box. I want to see what's going on. The crankcase doesn't appear to be overfilled. I have been running it harder yesterday so I'm just checking.
