I have lost my moto guzzi valve cover emblem insert tonight.....Maybe it's in a huge pile of other lost emblems next to the pile of missing sox without mates. Here is a pic of my remaining insert all by itself.....

If anyone finds it please let me know there is a reward! 20181124 225514

Guzzi racket of ~US$25 per side at any dealer, and they fall off often. Best to RTV them on. Part #'s 976559 & 976560

Gonna back track my stops last night. Got a mission early in the am tomorrow to find that buggar.....Hopefully before it gets crushed or ends up in someone's tread..... Its Sunday, in the 70s, and just right for a ride with no traffic. Might even crack the 20,000 mile mark on my Grizz tomorrow.

Thanks for tips on silicone and part resource fellas.

My Norge has been missing one since I bought it. It hurts to have to buy that tiny bit of plastic for $25.
I lost the right side cover for an '83 Honda Nighthawk 550 last year. It's made of pure unobtainium. After about an hour of searching the roadside and just as it was getting dark, I found it in the tall grass 5 feet from the road. It blew off during a 140 km/hr run.

No luck finding insert today.

However, it's a blessing in a way cause I did a torque check on all my plastics and found my license plate bracket was missing 1of 2 retaining nuts that hold my plate frame on. And the last nut was on it's very last turn of thread. Guess it really shakes around back there......What's lost is another gain it seems with my Guzzi.
The machine certainly keeps me on my toes. I really don't mind, she just feels so good ripping down the road.
