I have received so many comments from other riders about my Stelvio and how disappointed they are in Moto Guzzi Australia for discontinuing the NTX 1200 from last year.

I was wondering whether any of you Gurus could enlighten us Aussies on the reason why this is the case…….

Anyhow, so glad I grabbed one whilst they were still available.

Whoo Hoo !!

Cheers
Brooksie

Euro 4 emissions.

Only companies that can afford to go there need to be able to produce large quantities.

Another change at Piaggio has the Aprilia model carrying the torch in this demographic. Of course you hear of fantasy land hopes for maybe a more compact version of the Stelvio but for now Guzzi has been forced into the cruiser market.

You have to wonder then, if recent news is correct about MG support for Ewan McGreggor using a Stelvio for his next big "long way" trip to Sth America. Surely they would not do this without a bike to sell. Could be we may see a new bike and promotion tied to that?

I doubt they'd do that, no real point Mr McGregor Riding the current model, then them trying to sell a very different model on the strength of that.

From what I read recently, no date is yet set for the trip... So just maybe it could be fined with a new model stelvio..
Surely if the v7 and Cali can be EU4 compliant then they could also do the 1200s.

They'll also be looking beyond that to EU5, which will be even more draconian in it's criteria.
And people wonder why we voted to leave the EU . . .
