  • There is ZERO tolerance on personal attacks and ANY HYPERLINKS to PRODUCT(S) or other competing website(s), including personal pages, social media or other Forums. This ALSO INCLUDES ECU DIAGnostic software, questions and mapping. We work very hard to offer commercially supported products and to keep info relevant here. First offense is a note, second is a warning, third time will get you banned from the site. We don't have the time to chase repeat (and ignorant) offenders. This is NOT a social media platform; It's an ad-free, privately funded website, in small help with user donations. Be sure to see the GTM STORE link above; ALL product purchases help support the site, or you can upgrade your Forum profile or DONATE via the link above.
  • Be sure to see the GTM STORE link also above for our 700+ product inventory, including OEM parts and many of our 100% Made-in-SoCal-USA GTM products and engine kits. In SoCal? • Like the new V100, GuzziTech is full throttle into the future! We're now running on an all-new server and we've updated our Forum software. The visual differences are obvious, but hopefully you'll notice the super-fast speed. If you notice any glitches or have any issues, please post on the Site Support section at the bottom. If you haven't yet, please upgrade your account which is covered in the Site Support section or via the DONATE tab above, which gives you full site access including the DOWNLOADS section. Hello,

This is not the first time this has happened so let me be very frank here.

If you have used GuzziDiag / IAWDiag and Tools to access your ECU and now you are experienceing problems and issues, sending me a PM is going to get you no sympathy or help from me.

1. There are several posts here warning you never to use that POS program and why.

2. It has all the ability to tear down the safeties and controls built into your ECU to protect it, but offers no internal protections against glitches, stall outs, lock ups, and a myriad of other things that can occur to lock up your ECU or cause it to not function correctly. The most important thing on their stupid website is this:

"The usage of this software is at one's own risk! No liability!"

If this doesn't terrify you and make you not want to hook this up to your motorcycle, then I don't know what to tell you.

3. I don't have a copy of it anywhere on any system of mine. I have no idea what you might be seeing on it because I have never used it nor would I. I will always tell you never to touch it because when it screws up, and it will at some point, you will become a very unhappy camper in Moto Guzzi Land.

4. I have a Socio-300 professional computer system for accessing ECU's on Italian and European motorcycles. It is equipment from Italy produced by a commercial company who provides technical support for the products I have purchased from them. It was very expensive and I paid for it because I use it in my workshop weekly.

I'm sorry for your troubles, but using that POS software is not a cure. It's poison and I will have nothing to do with it.

Scott
