I'm giving Black a try this time around

Picked up another Cali this weekend.
Lets hope I have better luck with Black than I did with white

Congratulations and Good Luck!

PS- just a thought. If you own the salvage and the engine and driveline are intact, you have a magnificent start for a custom GTM build. If I had your bike and money in pocket, I’d be having Todd create me a beast bike! 😀

Soo.. with a tear in my eye, I finally started pulling the accessories I had on the wrecked white Cali and started putting them on the Black one. I'm also switching rear tire/rim being the the tire on the wrecked one has only 1500miles on it while the one on the black bike is 6yrs old. Alt delete was already done but not the moaning whale fix. Heck the breather o-rings on black one need to be replaced just like the white one needed when I got it?? I'm probably going to change out the header gaskets too being I have everything apart!

Black guzzi maint Black white guzzi

Hope it's tears of happiness... great therapy if nothing else.
While you're in that deep, be sure to inspect the exhaust for cracks, including under the forward heat shields.
Keep the progress pics flowing. ;)

OK
I just about finished all my service work on the bike ( still need to flush brake and clutch fluids ). I did take her out for the first time today and she is quicker than my old one and I really like the sound of the ( baffled ) Agostini's. I noticed she is a little slow at coming back to idle speed but I'll address that a little bit later. Overall I'm very happy biker.
