Injector fuse keeps blowing

Hi all,

I started my Stelvio the morning and while letting it warm up it suddenly died. The ecu codes 27 and 31 came up when I got into the dash diagnostics. Looked on this site and found the injector/coil/fuel pump fuse was likely blown. I checked and sure enough the fuse was blown. I replaced the fuse and as soon as I turned the key to the on position the fuse blew again. I am hoping this is due to a bad secondary injector relay but after thinking about it I'm not so sure.
Does anyone have any ideas where I should look? I recently had the tank and fairings off and checked everything due to a stepper motor short in the ecu connector. I looked over the entire wiring harness and found no issues.

There is an issue with the connector on the injector itself. There are several posts under SEARCH that discuss this. One, even talks about an injector where the electrical connector portion if the injector, was separating from the injector body, that caused this issue.

Many people pull on the injector wires and the injector, damaging it or unsettling the cable.

Other dolts, slathered dielectric grease onto the electrical connectors and caused the circuit to fail (dielectric grease is an INSULATOR, not a conductor). Don’t use it on electrical contacts. That’s not what it is for!

I’ve seen all manner of chemicals on fuel injector connectors before. They should be ckean and dry only.
