Hi guys, don't know if this is the way to do this but here goes.

Just joined the site, after buying a 2013 Stelvio NTX demo with 250kms
My previous rides were Honda CB750, CB1100, Honda XR250, and Harley Fatboy ( which I still ride)
After riding the Stelvio, I fell in love with the bike.
The handling , brakes, power are beyond what I expected.
Hence now I'm a Guzzi aficionado - they are magic.
I'm located in Adelaide, and bought the Stelvio for long trips - the first will be Adelaide to Alice Springs later this year.

That's about it - Thanks Dave

Dave, welcome! And also you are welcome to attend MGOA NSW club meetings and events. You did say you purchased said Stelvio for long trips... the Ruptured Budgie is on in QLD in May (see http://www.motoguzziclubqld.org/index.htm ) and NSW's Ragged Fringe rally is in September. VIC also has their Spaghetti Rally in October. Come along and join the fun

Hi Dave and welcome to the Guzzi family,
I'm also in Adelaide ,
you will eventually find many many of us here in Adelaide, we all love riding our Guzzis.

Sorry guys for not replying sooner, time gets away quickly.
Thanks for the welcome much appreciated.
Nice to know there's at least 1 more Stelvio in Adelaide Aussiedave, haven't seen too many on the roads.
Oz1200Guzzi thanks for the invite, but the trip to Alice in Sept has been extended to Darwin, so that will take care of 2015.
That Spaghetti Rally in Vic in Oct may be ok if I can get away.
Bike has done 1650kms now and just had its first service - all good so far

Dave, where do you get your bike serviced?
Bills or Garage in Strath ?
Well the Breva is my first 'modern" bike , all my others are worked on at home by me. I took Brevan to the Garage last year for a timing reset and injector balance.( 20000k's) I did all filters, fluids etc myself. First time I had used any bike shop for mechanical work since I was a wee lad. the people there were great to deal with and will talk to you like a real person. Angas the mechanic does know modern Guzzi's very well.
BTW I tend to drop in and out of forums , so no probs with time in replying !
Just to add more confusion to the name game , my mate with the Stelvio is also Dave AAARGGHHH !
