Just got it firing!
And all I can say is screw those aluminum tabs.
Also the switch wasn't easier than I thought once I got the hang of taking one side fairing off. Didn't help that the PO probably tried to do signal conversion and gave up. On one side rubber washers were absent and the tabs were pushed all the way to the bottom of each peg. Lost a my patience with a few. The nut that holds on the rear of the fairing on right side had been messed up previously where the screw came out of its position and free from the tank (?). After I realized that left hand side was stock and never altered, I really wish people wouldn't stop a project after starting one.
