Hi to Stelvio owners;

Somewhere on the forum could there be anyone who knows where to install KBFuse kit on Stelvio; mine is a 2017 NTX last year made

to be installed on fog lights circuit; Thanks in advance

Hi.

I'm not sure what you are asking here. Are you asking "how" to do this, or "where" you could locate it on the motorcycle? I have a supplemental fuse box mounted under the seat, in the rear of the compartment area.

Hi;
I want to locate where to connect the two short harness with coded plug ends; both have a fuse; i'm not sure but this could prevent being stranded

Sorry. I still do not understand what you are asking.

Do you have accessory plugs that are designed to piggyback on the stock electrical connections? Is that what you are asking?

Hi;
I am searching for the location concerning two connectors which look as if they are Guzzi connectors ; both have male/female connections. If installed the fog lights could be used safely to prevent burning the main fuse ,because if that main fuse is burnt you cannot start the motorcycle

I haven’t got a clue what you want. Sorry.

There was an issue with the fog lights melting and grounding out against the housing and blowing the main fuse. That is well covered and you can find the threads with SEARCH.

Here are the fuse connectors photo that must be plugged on the line but searching for the location to connect them.

Ok, now I understand.

If you have the original Hella halogen fog lights, the heat of the halogen bulb, melts the wire which grounds out against the housing. This in turn, blows the main fuse. In the case of a running motorcycle, the bike will no longer be charging and will run on straight battery discharge until the voltage gets low enough that the system no longer functions and the engine just dies.

Ask me how I know this…😝

So, from the back of the Hella lights, just cut the zip ties holding the wire to the crash bars.and follow the electrical cord up under the side panels where it connects to the wiring loom, put those in between the Hella light and the wiring loom connection. IMG 1402

What got me aware of the possible situation was an article on Youtube, I saw a picture on a site where you can buy the wires with 10 amp fuse each, it shows the location where to install them, thanks for the help

Yes and if installed what happens because each of them has a 10 amp fuse, will the bike computer recognize or else

They just blow earlier than the main fuse, preserving the main fuse integrity. That's the idea there. The ECU cannot recognize where fuses are.

thanks Scott, I am still suspicious of something, let me explain. When I parked the bike after a 250 km. A week ago, and wanted to see mileage turned switch on and there was nothing except ECU disconnected, those two acc. plugs had been installed by me and from then on I removed them to fix my problem, charged battery had it checked OK and disconnected and cleaned cluster connector also ECU connectors plus ground, everything is fine now will install the acc plugs later

There are photos on this website that show the internal demise of the stock lights, now linked below. It’s my strong opinion (based on the dozen that I’ve now personally seen) that the engine mounted crash bar is a terrible mounting point. Grab the bar and rev the motor and you’ll see. I cut the brackets off of mine (and removed the lights) the day I got the bike. There’s other clever places to mount them, and the older model has a frame mounted bracket for them. Again, all here on this site found on a search.

I will make sure no more issue arise and also check the wiring inside hellas
