Has anyone here used These ^ grips on an Eldorado 1400 ?
Personal experience with fitment and wiring , 130mm units in particular .
Thanks , Peter

Well I got them yesterday . Left grip slipped on easy as you please with a firm push . Throttle , not so easy .
3/4 of a millimeter too small . Tried honing out the grip , not too satisfactory . Finally took to sanding down
the plastic throttle grip . Tedious beyond description, almost 2 1/2 hours , continuously measuring with dial
calipers to keep it round . They work ,and am looking for a break in the rain to give them an on the road testing :) .
Peter

So I just returned from a cozy 7 degree C ride (brrrr) and with thin leather gauntlets and the setting
to yellow ( pretty much mid way) the hands were nice and warm , Yahoo I can enjoy spring rides
here in B.C . Good thing after all that work to install :) . Peter

Nice to hear. I got heated gloves this Christmas and they have been making rides so far much more enjoyable. It was 1 degree on the way to work today and my hands were, while not hot, they were comfortable. At least on the top of my hands, the underside was chilly. I think I will add the heated grips for next season.

Was riding my bicycle in Comox at 8:00 this morning, so I know how cold it was, my back deck was frozen up when I set off. You're a brave guy riding a motorbike in those conditions

The roads were clear and dry, so just chilly that is all. Felt great to be back on two wheels.

Hi Just abour to install the Koso apollo heated grips on my Cali 1400 custom. Just wondering what you selected as a wiring connection/source for them.
Thanks Rob.

You can go directly across the battery if you don't have any spare switched supply cables doing nothing, They will turn themselves off if you forget to, so your battery won't be flattened overnight.

I simply tapped into one of the fuse leads near the battery , trying to keep extra leads off the
battery posts if possible . And remember if yours is a 2018 , have lots of sandpaper on hand and
some calipers to keep the throttle grip as round as you can , happy installing :) . Peter

Thanks guys …. About what i figured. Wondered if anyone used the factory wiring for factory grips located in the headstock area. Also wondering if anyone knows where to source the mating electrical plug to match with the mentioned factory wiring
