Hi there
As it looks like my Lario project may get underway this spring I've got some questions.
has anyone put in larger valves?
has anyone grafted the late model small block fuel management onto an older bike?
has anyone got a pair of 18 inch wheels so as to change the gearing and decrease rollin resistance over the 16s?

Thanks

4V?
You can probably graft on the ‘09-12 dual throttle body system if you change the harness and add the ECU too. Pricey proposition, but do-able.

Yes 4v?
I think ide buy a crashed v7, ide use what I need and part out the rest. Am going to try a pair of 36 del ortos first though. Hoping to get about 135 mph out of her.

4V means custom valves either way, meaning not cheap, but .5mm larger is as big as you can go. I can get them for you. Write me direct email; Todd at GuzziTech.com
135 on the speedo or on the radar gun? If the latter, it would have to be downhill with a tail wind or off of a cliff.

Racers of Ted, owner of a Guzzi and Ducati shop in amsterdam. Anything is possible, 75 hp, Lario heads, Nevada crank and cylinders, home made slipper clutch etc etc. Probably doesn't need a cliff to get close to 135mph....

Need to see the rear wheel dyno sheet. Talking about numbers is easy.
My 820cc modern V7 Lario head motor makes ~60 rwhp, which is easily 75 hp at the crank.
Our friend Mike T here ran his race bike 949cc big block at El Mirage and managed 142 mph.
