I got everything fabricated and painted and mounted up a pair of Advmonster.com model 30 LED lights on my Griso

I put a dimmer on them with a high beam bypass so they come on full power when the high beams or passing light are activated. This pic is at the lowest setting on the dimmer. My camera wont handle the lights when they are on 100%, just go outside and stare into the sun for a while and you'll get the same effect as looking into the lights on full power. They are rated at 1500 lumens each and only pull 0.8 amps each at full power

Moto,
Seen these lights discussed a few times but no one has elaborated on their performance.
They obviously put out a lot of light but is it a wide spread over a short distance or does it have a long long throw which would be suitable to use on country roads.
I'm interested to know as I plan to do some country travelling and would like to upgrade the lighting.
I'm leaning towards conventional driving lights which have known performance but these look interesting if they work effectively.
