I want to install a led headlight bulb in stock Griso bucket but am concerned about heat since the stock bucket has no ventilation. I bought a set of LED's that don't use a ballast and have a fan from a local guy for my Stelvio and am very happy with the results but the back is completely open so heat isn't an issue. Am I over thinking this or is this a possible issue with melting wires or bucket?

The light pattern from those plug in style bulbs isnt going to be as ideal as a housing/light combo.

I currently have a rivera primo light and its night and day compared to the stock setup. Honestly, it competes with most cars as far as the width of the beam.

Its a drop in and the housing that comes with the Griso is crap so I Got this bucket:

Its a metal housing that uses the industry standard clips so it would work with basically any kit. They have their own but its quite expensive and busy looking but they do have an adaptive module that changes the beam as you lean.

I really just want to change it for being seen better during the day. I rarely ride at night anymore since retiring because i don't have too. The pattern while important isn't a priority. Just wanted to make sure the heat created by the built in fan on the led doesn't create problems in a closed headlight bucket. Ive had the same brand in my Stelvio for about a year, they work great and rode at night on a Death valley trip in November and was pleased at the amount of light they produced. Stelvio is wide open in back so heats not an issue.
