I am Installing the Y vent tubes on my 83 lemans III and am in need of a diagram or description on the proper routing for said vent tubes that connect to the frame.
There is lots of oil coming through the air box and an excessive amount dripping after every ride.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

I have removed my airboxes for just that reason w/LM3 and Cal2 were almost new.
But, if I remember correctly the Y that plugs onto bottom : one hose goes behind starter to a bracket on bellhousing bolt and outside air, other hose goes to smaller barb on frame center tubing by steering head.
Also a larger S shaped hose goes from check valve on top of bellhousing up to large barb by steering head. There is a smaller hose for condensed oil vapors, small barb on frame cross section to small tube on bellhousing. Been over 30yrs but I think that's how it goes.

If you are getting a large amount of oil in the airbox you may be over filling the crankcase. Most of these engines will pump oil out until it reaches a level where it doesn't. If you continue to fill, it will continue to pump. I've run the stock system similar to the LM III on every California/EV series bike I have owned without issue. The happy spot is usually about half way between the full and add mark on the dipstick.
