Let there be light - Spot lights that is...

Just ordered a Stelvio model 2011 GT (not the NTX) - will be delivered end July and can't wait. Feeling like a little kid waiting for Santa Claus. But still have my Norge (2007 - 90.000 km) to help me out for the moment.
And the help from my dealer - when it gets too much I can boorow his demo bike for 1 or 2 hrs - great. We have a very good dealer service in Belgium.

YES YES YES please put me on your list too. Looks much better than the original MG system.
Take care - greatings to all MG riders. Marc - Belgium.

I just received my led lights from BikeVis UK. Perfect service from that company : ordered and deliverd within the week.Installation should be not too complicated.
Now just wating for the suport plate to be ready so that I can put my order out.

I'll take one also.

I'm in too! I'd like to mount some lights that way.

Lannis

You will all be very happy with the lights mounted in this location. Here is how they look. This pic was taken on a ride during the recent Western NY Moto Guzzi Rally. My buddy Hoovy is behind me on his Norge, which itself has very good lighting, but pales in comparison to the current lighting array on my Stelvio.

Cheers,

Bruce

John -

Did the neat little mounting plates ever get done? We talked about getting some from you last September but I haven't heard anything yet?

I've got my two high beams wired up, and would love to mount a couple of aux lights on your brackets before our Nova Scotia trip this spring .... !

Lannis

I would be very interested in purchasing one of these brackets as well. If it's not too late that is.

Also, a stupid question ...

Will any light plug into the existing wiring and operate from the handlebar switch or will they have to be official Guzzi lights?

I just installed a set of Clearwater LED's on the factory light bar and connected them to the handlebar switch. No problem at all.

I'd still like to get that plate to mount the big 2700 lumen Clearwaters up underneath though.

I like my nice and quiet (useless) standard horn. Occassionaly I still hit the horn button instead of the turn signal, with 125db I would absolutely crap myself, thinking I had just pulled in front of a bloody truck. :)

Bit I do like those 60 LED lights from ADV. My plan is to have them angled upwards and outwards so I have decent lights on mountain road cornering. Straight ahead is irrelevant as speed cannot be acheived.

Considered a toggle switch on my indicator circuit to convert "turn" signal switch into left or right flood light switch.
Might make life busy in the office. :)
