Just to say that IMHO it's well worth the effort, I've never bothered before but as my Givi dealer offered me the kit cheap I thought I get it done, the friends I've ridden with tell me it really grabs the attention as they're not expecting it, hopefully it's working as well on the cage drivers. :shock:

By the way, only the brake lights work. (LEDs)
 
I have the exact same setup..... E55 with lights. One side had a wiring issue, and Givi sent a new light kit so I could fix it.....no charge. Good folks to work with!
 
I have always had issues with GIVI's light kits, the problem has not been with the lights themselves but with the button connector loosing contact over the course of a few weeks or 6 months. GIVI has always been real good about sending me repair parts at no charge no matter how old the E52 top box was but it was getting on my last nerve replacing the button assembly all the time.

I broke down and purchased this set up http://www.twistedthrottle.com/trade/pr ... /3978/680/ from Twisted Throttle. It has turn signals / running lights & brake lights in the top box. The back of my Stelvio is lit up like a Xmas tree now which is great at 5 AM in the morning commuting to Washington, DC with all the cagers texting, talking on their cell phones and the women putting on make up. :blink:

These lights have saved my a$$ more than once and after one year of ownership not one problem, they took about 1.5 hours to install.
