Ciao, fellow Guzzi owners!

I'm new to the Moto Guzzi owner club but thrilled to be here!

I purchased my first Moto Guzzi last year, a 2017 V7III special. I've ridden it stock, just how it came out of the dealership, and am now interested in personalizing it a bit.

The three immediate changes I want to make are my rearview mirrors, swapping out my bulbs with brighter LEDs or other types of lamps, and the exhaust.

I live in a suburban area in Essex county New Jersey and commute to NYC for work almost daily. Where I live, the roads are very dark, so want better visibility and also to be seen. Driving in the city, I do a lot of squeezing in between vehicles, so I don't want to extend the width of the motorcycle anymore and also want to be sure that people hear me.

Rearview mirrors:
I like the size and shape of the mirrors that came with the bike but not very fond of how high the bars that they're mounted on are. I'm interested in possibly changing to handlebar end mounts that still hold the mirror inside the length of the handlebars or something that can be installed right into the bracket holding the stock mirrors that aren't as high as the ones it came with.

Light bulbs:
I want to make all the lights on the bike brighter. Don't want to change the housing of any of them, just the bulbs, so looking for items that can be placed right into the existing sockets. From what I can tell, LEDs are probably the way to go?

Exhaust:
I have to say that I love the way the bike sounds. That deep throaty rumble is really sexy but want it to be just a bit louder. Not obnoxiously loud but just enough to make my presence known.

As an individual who's not very mechanically inclined, but still willing to get his hands dirty, I was hoping to get some advice and recommendations from folks who have a little more experience with this.

I am looking forward to starting some dialogue with the members of this forum.

Best,
rZ.

Below are the lights I used on my Anniversario. Not a single issue with any of them on 7000 KM of riding.

Headlight - high beam/low beam (the large light)

Headlight - tail light (the small light)

You may want to wrap a spin or two of electricians tape around the base of the body to make a really snug fit.

I used these on the recommendation of several other Guzzi owners. very bright on the regular element and facing the right way. I would have liked more brightness on the brake portion but it's good enough and priced right.
