Hello Folks,
I am looking for a worn out small block clutch plate, part number 27084460.
I need the hub (22mm) to hold the main shaft and tighten the nuts in the gear box (old V65).
I don't think the plates get resurfaced, so I am hoping they are collecting dust in a dark corner.
Willing to pay.

I don't know anyone to borrow the appropriate spline tool.

I removed the nuts with an impact wrench and I could put them back on that way. I would feel better if I could torque instead of slapping locktite and crimping the nut.
I could be persuaded.

Thanks,
Pescatore

Will you be torquing the nuts with the threads dry or lubricated? There is a helluva difference,

I reckon your other idea of locktite and/or crimping the nut is a much better plan. YMMV.

I read somewhere that for loctite to stick well, the parts need to be clean. So I'm thinking no oil.
The crimp alone should be good enough, so I could add a drop of oil.
Thanks for the tip.

But without the spline tool, I'm stuck.

Just call Curtis at Harper’s Moto Guzzi. He has a tool and probably even a old used plate.

Regardless, he can most likely set you “right as rain”.

Enjoy!
