Got a used 1400 touring with tour pack, love the bike it's much more refined than my cali 2 which has fairing bags and pack.
However the keys that came with the luggage don't seem to even fit into the locks. The locks and keys are all labeled southco. Anybody have problems with this?
Oh and is there a search option for topics here other than browsing topics? Great forum.

Keys for the bags on my custom are labeled southco, and no problems. Hmmm.....
Search function is on the top right of the screen.

    Good luck with the keys.

    Hi Dan,
You might want to check the Protex Fasteners website. They carry keys for Southco latches.

Update to luggage keys. I went to Home Despot and found a blank that fit in the cylinder got out a dremel and calipers and cut a key myself. Incredibly easy to fabricate. Maybe 15 minutes to make 2 keys. Design of cylinder very simple. I have never done this before.
