All, I pushed hard and finally talked Matris into developing fork kits for all California variants from '98-12. For the non-adjustable Cali's (only), the KE Kit offers a simple drop in solution that works incredibly well, no drilling or cutting, and the kit comes with billet aluminum pre-load caps. I'll stock them in very limited numbers.

If you currently have some variation of springs and valves and still aren't happy, or you like to ride hard in the twisties... the all-new 'S' kit mimics the best in technology and adjustability (pre-load, and true compression and rebound) in an easy drop-in cartridge kit. Fits '98 EV and all adjustable California models with 45mm forks --OR-- easily drops into the non-adjustable 45mm forks as well. When you want the ultimate in front fork suspension for your California, this is it.

Purchase info, click on either pic below or see the Store tab above HERE.

Todd, I've already had Bella's forks resprung and cartridges revalved (same as EV forks with single Comp and Rebound adjuster on fork caps)

Are the Matris fork caps compatible with the standard Marzocchi cartridges?

    2 reasons.
    1. I get pre-load adjustment
    2. Matris caps require an Allen key to adjust damping.

Other people can't resist turning the knobs.
I often find my fork adjusters set at full soft, or full hard. ??????????????????

Oh, I also like the bling.
