As there was nothing in this section, I thouight I would kick it off with a report about my little local bike club member's recent promotion.

As Club President it was down to me to organise the date of the club's traditional christmas dinner. I found a date when most could attend.
Then I was told that the pub was booked that night and didn't have the room for another 20-30 for dinner. So back on the puter to find a new date, I suggested that we made it the Friday Night instead of Saturday on the same weekend.

Most agreed, one member, Dave, said " Friday night is much better, it gives us all day Saturday for a decent after dinner drink"'. I sent this out to all members as a good reason.

They were so impressed by the clear concise logic and the excellence of the strategy, that Dave was immediately made "Vice President in charge of planning"

I think I will take a cab to the dinner, it looks like a hard weekend.

Considering it being a Christmas dinner, you still got some time for preparations, I suppose.

My club are celebrating Friday Dec. 5th. That's just before hell goes off.
10 years ago we spent Christmas in Cuba. Best ever; no snow, no drunk Santas no nothing but heat and baths in the blue sea.
And very good Mojitos all over.

Hello
In my eye, xmas is not really a important date for a motorcyclist life, but have fun.
My preferred day is the 21st Dec.
It is the day the Sun returns to the north..
Cheers / Roger
