After more than two years in the planning, and taking COVID into consideration we decided to go ahead with our trip to Mandello for the centenary. We arrived today at our beautiful accommodation in Abbadia Lariana, having taken the ferry from Menorca to Toulon. We then avoided motorways (freeways) and toll roads on route to Sanremo through beautiful wine regions of France, and overlooked Cannes and Monaco. We stayed for one night in a beautiful bed and breakfast overlooking Sanremo and then followed the coast again avoiding motorways and tolls to the beautiful city of Genoa. We spent two nights in Genoa and used a full day exploring the medieval parts of the city and harbour area (which is currently preparing for the Genoa boat show next week) a major event in the boating calendar. Today we continued our journey to Abbadia which took considerably longer than expected due to road construction and closers, however arrived safely. Took a drive by past the entrance to the “eagles nest” (big red doors) and despite the “event” being cancelled it’s an absolute Guzzi fest.
Pictures to follow.

You change your mind in going then, yes?
Envious, though I couldn't have attended even if I had originally planned it due to my back issue. Next year for sure!
Enjoy and post more pics!
There's a few folks there that I know. Say to hi to them from me if you see them...

Awesome! What a great ride.

I was so looking forward to returning to Mandello del Lario this year but next year for sure!
