I have searched the forum and was unable to find answers. I was gifted the Multimedia adaptor for my 18 Eldorado. I have three questions:
1 - I found a post pertaining to the 1400 and the MGMP and wanted to confirm that the connector behind the battery is correct. Pic below.
2 - When I downloaded the app, you must select your model. The options for the 1400 are "CRUISER" and "CRUISER E4". Which would I select for 18 Eldorado. When you select one it responds with "WARNING - vehicle model selection can't be changed. Are you sure?"
3 - According to the owners manual, there is a button on the left hand switch gear labeled MGMP. What is its function? Is there anyone who can detail the MGMP operation?
Thanks
Scott

FYI
After just searching everything Eldorado 1400, I came across the official Moto Guzzi parts web site. As I entered in my bikes info, It listed the bike by years and used the "E4" designation for 2018 on. Just put two and two together and I'm guessing Euro4 emissions compliance. So, that answered that question. I plugged the device into the connector described in the other post.
I made the selection of "cruiser E4" in the app. Lo and behold, the app offered instructions on how to connect and basic features. Imagine that!
After attempting to make the BT connections numerous times and failed, I deleted the app and cleared my BT and upon starting everything a new, it connected.
It is a toy at best, but I believe it data logs and has a basic nav feature. It contains a copy of the owners manual (not bad). Other interesting feature for the drag racer in all of us - Shift light. I, also, now know that I am 4142.1 miles from "The Nest".
Now the only unanswered question is ... What does the MGMP button on the left control pod do?
If any one has questions, please let me know.
Scott

I can only find in my manual that the little round button on my left hand controls is “MGMP where applicable”. I’ve searched the forums, but still don’t know what it controls. Can it be different devices?

Maybe that's for heated grips. My bike has the button for it but not the heated grips.
