I love the mistral pipe, it looks good and sounds great..... I am sure that the pipe would work just fine on the 8v, the only downside for me on the 1100 is some popping when throttling off... but no drama at all

Ghost Bullet check out the thread re: the stepper motor. I put in the on/off vavle as shown (had to have the dealer turn a blind eye when he saw it) and it eliminated 75% of the popping on decel... Just need away to cure the last of it......Used exactly what was shown in the thread (Motion Pro 5/16 fuel valve, $13), took 15 mins (5 if knew what i was doing) and it worked a treat....
 
I got a lot more top end with the mistral, did not have much decel popping, until Pete and me fixed it.....still runs great, and Pete's coming back so we'll sort it, but the pipe really opened up the upper RPM range
