Modifications already...

So can you explain what must be done to attach that to a racer seat?
You'd have to fab up some brackets to hold it on using the front holes of the cowling on each side. The Racer seat has similar brackets that hold on the OEM cowl, though they wouldn't work for the Thruxton cover, they should give you an idea on how to go about it.

Go to a pro paint supplier (such as Paint Circuit in Markham) with your tank or side panel. They will be able to scan the part and produce the matching paint colour. You'll then have a recipe for any paint supplier to create a spray bomb in a matching tone. Paint Circuit does exactly this for $20.00. So does Napa. At Napa, they sell 2K clear which is the best top coat for your paint job. Check out dotheton.com/forum/index.php?topic=10993.0 for advice about spray painting.

Ok, so rather than creating a new thread I thought I'd high jack a current one...that I started. I'm in the midst of finalizing the modifications to my bike. For the front end I'm either getting the Dart Classic or the modified gauge cluster from Todd. My issue is the rear end. I like the look of the tail tidy, but I feel that it's missing something (fender/rear light assembly/license plate holder). Any ideas? I like the cafe racer look, but I'm not sure of the tail tidy kit is what I'm looking for...however it's hard to find pictures of the rear end on Google.

Suggestions??!!

Cheers,

Chris

If you don't like the Tidy Kit, you could cut down stock fender with light attachment of your choice. Preferably one with a plate attachment option like the one show below.

So I ended up getting some clubman handlebars (prefer the look over standard clip on bars). I'm assuming I will have to drill a hole to have the left and right controls? Is there any magic to this or do I have to find bars with the holes pre drilled?

Also...I discovered a connector just hanging behind my light. I checked everywhere and cannot find where it would connect to? Any thoughts?

What Clubman’s did you order?

That's the connector for your Tom Tom GPS. If you don't have/want one of these, cut the connector off and graft a connector for your choice of GPS or radar detector or whatever.
