rear shock replace is a must.here's a gtm m shock. quite the bargain too

Yes an excellent shock. I installed one on my 1100 Breva. I also early on made a rubber flap from a cheap rubber car mat and attached it to the plasric above with adhesive. The flap was positioned around the shock inboard of the swing arm. The flap will prevent road grime from getting on the shock.

I had an old mud flap and glued it to the inside of the wheel arch, I also glued a piece of plastic I cut from a 4 lit oil tub to the CARC and it keeps rubbish off the knuckle assembly.
