I was installing my MPH Startus Interuptus harness today when I noticed some corrosion on the positive battery terminal. I was able to clean it all off with a wire brush and a razor blade. I then smeared Vasoline over the positive battery terminal and the positive harness connection. If the battery wasn't such a PITA to remove I guess I would have checked it earlier. In 35+ years of riding, I've actually never had a battery terminal show corrosion. Oh well, guess I'm due. I've had my Griso for a year this month and the battery was new when I bought the bike. The positive terminal was about 1/4 covered in the blueish dust.

I've also never had the Startus Interuptus issue with my Griso but have read about other CARC bikes exibiting that tendency which is why I went ahead and bout the MPH harness. For about $20.00, how could it be a bad idea? Plus I have a lot of trust in anything that MPH does.

Here's a link to their website if you don't know about them of their Startus Interuptus harness: http://www.mphcycles.com/

All the best,

Mark
