All,

This made my day. AF1 Racing in Austin told me today: Moto Guzzi has a new dealer coming for Houston. This will the third one in about the last 3-4 years. As an owner, and fan of the brand, this is wonderful. Also, check out this LA Times article on Moto Guzzi. The new V 85 TT is a hit: selling them faster than they can make them Piaggio engineering is finally fully impacting Luigi in Mandello del Lario. I have had my V7 III two years, and the reason I traded an older V7 for new was the much enhanced engine and transmission-- due to Piaggio influence. When Guzzi puts the new V85 engine into a V7 type frame: a phenomenal bike.

Molto Felice!

New dealer has been identified: "Team X-Treme"... they also have a shop in North Houston. Reputation is.. well.. leaves much to be desired. I may still ride in and look at a V85 and make my own decision. Likely I will use Mike Haven at MPH for any maintenance on my V7 III Special... she will be due for a 5000 mile checkup this fall.
