My V7 II Racer

Love IT! Just registred here for Informations about swapping the Speedo. Is it the Baak light and speedo? They dont offer anymore the pre wired one.

Me and my buddy are know not sure if we can figure it out how to wire a new speedo. I will search and read further on other threads. But this guzzi is really beautiful.

Hello,

Thank you for your kind words. Indeed, it is the BAAK headlight + speedo combo. I just found out they don't offer the wiring anymore.. That's weird.. Have you contacted them or are you just stating this because it's not under their Moto Guzzi section?

The reason I say this is because even though the headlight and speedo combo is under their "universal" section, it still states that wiring is available for the Moto Guzzi and Triumph. So unless you have contacted them and they did confirm that they're no longer providing any wiring for the speedometer, I would ask.

Otherwise, it's a real shame they don't.

I had two exchange with Baak.
The Answer from July:
Hi Chris,
thank you for your message. Unfortunately we can't offer this part at the moment as we face a raw material supply issue regarding the electronic box of these speedometers for V7. I couldn't confirm the next date of availability for this part as we're working on an alternative solution.

I remain available, have a nice day.
Best regards.

The Answer from November:

Hi Christoph,
thank you for your message.

Unfortunately, we are not selling them anymore, we are trying to develop a new model that could be installed much more easily but I don't have any date.

I remain available, have a nice day.
Best regards.

@Faisal did you buy the pre wired one? And is this the normal or the small size lighthouse?

Thanks for the reply

I'd be interested to see how much easier they can make it... Their previous wiring box was very easy to install IIRC...

I purchased the large lighthouse with the Motogadget classic chrono with their wiring.
