Mystery torque specs

Well, I'm finally putting the T3 back together. I was searching through all my manuals and online resources and could not find torque specs for the CAMSHAFT NUT, CRANKSHAFT NUT AND OIL PUMP NUT. Can someone help me out?

I can't find those specifications either.

But the oil pump shaft is an 8mm. If it were a bolt, it would be 25 lb-ft. I would go a little less and shoot for 20 lb-ft. With the lock washer, that should be tight enough. For the crank nut, it is a gland nut with a locking tab washer behind it. The Guzzi tool doesn't let you get much torque on it since the two handles are close together. Just go as tight as you can and lock the tab. The nut won't go anywhere. The cam nut is good size (27mm if I remember correctly) and it can be pretty tight. I've always used wrench art for these since no torque spec is provided. My guess would be in the 35-40 lb-ft range would be adequate if you must use a torque wrench. When tightening the crank nut, use the flywheel holder at the rear to lock the crank. And when tightening the cam nut, use a bar through the sprocket to the hole in the case to hold the sprocket. You don't want to place much strain on the cam chain.
 
Thanks John. I was driving myself nuts (no pun intended) looking for torque specs. I used my impact wrench to put the camshaft and crankshaft nut on. I'll check and see what I've got.

If you used the impact wrench, they sure won't come loose. Hopefully they aren't over tightened. I only like to use an impact wrench for taking things apart.
 
Don't worry John there was very little air in the air compressor and I had it set on super low.

Danpez, I have that chart but thanks for passing it along anyways. Unfortunately it does not have the specs I was looking for.

The Guzzi workshop manual says:
Camshaft: 15 kgm (87 ft/lbs)
Oil pump: No info
Crank shaft: No info

I realize this is an OLD disscussion, but in case anyone else is led here by Google, the correct torque spec for the camhaft gear nut is 108 lb/ft. Sounds crazy, but I've checked numerous sources, including one referenced above...
