Actually, two hoses, more or less visible on right side of this pic from looking up my V7 II Stornello's skirt.

Front to right; rear to left.

And, more interestingly, after taking that pic, noticed the hole with a filled twin at rear (left)!

Am in Atlanta and can't walk 604 miles down to the Moto Grappa to get a better look.

Any ideas what that is about?

I looked at a parts blow-up but could not ID.

    Grazie,

    Bill

One is the free air vent from the evap can (between the V on the 16's Steve), and the other is likely from the gas cap over-flow area.

I see where it looks like a bolt missing. That is the clutch arm pivot pin I do believe. Yea, what's the other hole for?

    Thanks, Steve.

    Wait a minute.

You answered my question with a question. Actually, I am flattered ... and clueless!

Still hoping some V7 II owner will get under theirs and see if they can tell me what it might be.

'Course, I'll be back home on Sunday. OTOH, I could stare at it 'til the cows come home and still not know.

Oh, U.S. military types may know why that bovine metaphor above calls for a resounding: "GO ARMY! BEAT NAVY!

Well, could have 2 holes for future implement of the arm to exit the opposite side.

    Ha!

    And, oops.

Got ensnared by Atlanta tasks. By time I got back to this fun, just forgot.

OTOH, just noticed you ignored my "what's the missing fastener and other hole?" question. ;)

Seriously, thanks for the response. Will look at those hoses in detail on return home.

Now, back to those Atlanta eldercare chores ... and shoveling snow! No, really.

    Best,

    Bill
