Need a pic of euro Stelvio left side case

I have a spare set of Norge hardcases that I want to convert for Stelvio use. The only difference is that the inside clamshell of the left case has a different cutout for the high (vs. low on the Norge) exhaust. I'm going to cut it out and then lay molded fiberglass to rebuild the wall.

It would be helpful if one of you that has the Norge-style Stelvio cases would shoot a pic of just the left case, dismounted, rear view and another one of the mounting side so I can get an idea how the factory shapes the cutout. I'd like to get as close to OEM in appearance as possible.
Unfortunately, those cases are not imported into the US, only the ammo can type. Need a pattern.

Thanks very much in advance!!

I discovered recently that the Norge's left case is also cut out a bit. Just enough to be annoying :S

Out of curiosity, wouldn't it be easier to lower the exhaust? Easier as in tolerances for fit, water--proofness etc. might be somewhat less severe?

Thanks, Percival!
If it wouldn't be too much trouble, when you have a chance could you take the case off and shoot one of the exhaust side of the case? Also, is the heat protectant stock, or did you add that?? Looks like a good idea, and I had been thinking about doing that as well.

A shot of the case support that mounts on the rear fender would be helpful also as I'm trying to discover if it's the identical one to the Norge as well.

Thanks again!

The Stelvio exhaust crossover doesn't match any existing other bikes, so I'd have to fab something to get a Norge muffler to fit. Also, I already popped for a Mistral can, don't want to re-spend those bucks.

I bought the Norge cases cheap a couple years ago from an unclaimed freight reseller as spares. Now, it seems like a handy and thrifty way to get the cases I want for the Stelvio. To purchase them from Agostini and ship to the USA, till UPS adds on their $275(!!!) would put the cases well over a grand. Not acceptable.

I recall reading someone claim the mount system is identical.

Yes, to lower the exhaust, one would be looking at a new x-over or connecting x-over and muffler. If it's just the latter, the solution would probably be relatively easy, I guess. I know it's something that's been done by some on their GS, exactly to be able to mount panniers that don't add too much width.

With the images already posted, have a good look inside your pannier, to see how the different parts of the shell are held together. It's not a simple cast shell (which probably explains why they're so sturdy).
