new 2013 V7 Special owner - initial mods?

so Diane now has some miles under her belt on the 2013 V7 Special, and I have put a few miles on it myself. Nice bike!

No Issues so far other than the Agostini titanium silencers. The stock mufflers have great big heat shields on them near the riders foot pegs, the Agostini's do not. Diane keeps melting her right boot on the Agostini's, it makes an unsightly mess on the pipe and is annoying. Has anyone figured out heat shield's for the Agostini mufflers?

the V7 Special is a very unique and relaxed experience, enough power without scaring Diane, enough torque that she doesn`t stall it leaving stop lights the way she would do once in a while with her high revving Kawasaki 250 ZZR.

the lower gel seat did not work out, the way it is configured the frame digs into your inner calves, so Diane is now riding the bike with a V7 Racer solo seat on it, which although just a bit high for her is better than the discomfort from the lower gel seat. Who would have thought.....

happy so far.....
