I am now able to offer custom-built spoked wheels for your CARC Guzzi, which includes a retro-fit for all Griso (or 12 Sport, Breva, etc) or re-size for the Stelvio.

Most any size front or rear (including 4.25 or 5" rear for the Stelvio). The hubs are in black only. Rim color options are available and cost will vary. Contact me for pricing.

Hubs have ARRIVED (3.25.10) - front comes with bearings, dust seals and spacer;

What chance *Proper* tubeless rims as used on EV's and the like? I am not a hugefan of the sealed spoke type.
Pete, if the spoke count between the two are the same, should not be a problem. Ping me direct e-mail with a price on the '02+ EV Behr rear 4.5" rim (only) if you would.

Indeed Andrew, wish it was less... not possible. OEM Rear rim for the Stelvio in the 4.5x17 is close to ~$1450 US.

I'm going to build one set to sell. I can build a set of 3.5x17/5.5x17 for the Griso -OR- I can build a 2.5x19/4.5x17 for the Stelvio or any other combination.

For those even remotely interested, what should I build?

What would the hubs alone cost?

I might be interested in trying my hand at building a rim.

If these fetch $1100 a pop, perhaps i CAN do some machining by hand to help drive the cost down...

I won't divulge the hub costs here, but they aren't cheap. The problem/additional cost comes in with the custom spokes.

That i understand.

What i mean is, perhaps if we can get just one hub, we can copy it for much cheaper than you can buy them. Lower cost means more interest. Everybody wins.

The only part that needs to be done by hand are the spoke holes.

Hubs are here, see top post above. I'm offering any wheel configuration for any model, from any of the Breva/Sport to the Griso, or rear Stelvio. Contact me direct PM or e-mail (best); Todd at GuzziTech.com

A 1200 Sport with black rims, stainless spokes and a polished alloy gas tank would look awesome. I might have to buy a Powerball ticket today. Winning Powerball is about the only way I could afford it..lol
