Slo-Mo-Shun
Just got it firing!
I have only been a member on this forum for a short time just before I decided on a new Griso 1200 8V SE. Well picked up the bike today and have just completed the first 100 miles, stunningly great bike. Obviously being brand new theres a lot of loosening up to do but its a very pleasant change to my normal rides (HD XL1200 and a HD Ultra classic electra glide).
I used to have an early griso 1100 but it didnt work out due to the issues with the speed sensor, I really could not afford to keep the bike and continuously claim under the warranty. The model now seems to have good reliability with only a couple of minor issues so hopefully this will have a good home with me for a few years. The wife loves it (pillion only) and has just stated she could "quite fancy the California", I could quite fancy the £15000 to buy it.
I added a screen, rack and termi can to the bike and all seem to be very worthwhile. I guess tonight it will be reading and re-reading the handbook (yes I really do) and the weekend will probably be taken up with setting up the forks and shocks.
BTW I have read a couple of posts in the forum from people who are vertically challenged and concerned about putting the stand up, well I have a 27.5 inch inseam (I tell everyone else its 28), I am 59 years old (beginning of Aug) and well overweight and I can stow it whilst on the bike.
This forum was one of the places that helped me make up my mind, many thanks.
All the best
Pete
