Hi All,
I'm located around 100 miles south of atlanta. Just joined this site. I've been riding since 1997 and am 63 y.o. and retired. I've had a lot of bikes over the years mostly ducati, mv, aprilia. I've long been looking at the V7 and am very interested in this bike. My present ride is a 22 bmw s1000xr. The v7 would be a second bike.

Atlanta has two dealers, MotoGuzzi/Vespa Atlanta and Southeast Motorcycle in Douglasville. Does anyone have any experience with the two? Positives or Negatives

Chris

Vespa has been there for a long time. Nice people, not very aggressive, but good to their customers.
The other one is new to Atlanta, but has another location way SE. I haven't been there yet, but have heard good things about the other spot. They've been with Aprilla a while before getting Guzzi.

I used to work for Marrietta dealer before retiring, they are OK. The one in Douglasville is a MotoPlex Piaggio dealer, fancy place I guess, haven't been there either. The wrench there worked on MV's & such for Riders Hill after I left that shop in Dahlonega.
Good Luck with the V7, not much Hp like your other bike but satisfying.
I'm over east going towards Athens is closer than ATL. Owners club has a dinner once a month somewhere around ATL, usually by Roswell.

I loved riders hill. Ian is the guy that worked on my aprilias and mvs I bought from them, I really hated to see Riders Hill close.
Since this will be a second bike big HP isn't really needed. But over the years they've gradually been increasing hp on the v7s.

Welcome to the GT Forum. Many riders are finding their way onto a Guzzi. The V7 line has done a surprising job of this. I cant comment on the dealers, but Steve above would know best. Most Guzzi owners (historically) are tinkerers, so relying on Dealers is often futile. You can likely find help here though, unless you are fortunate enough or willing to travel to find a good wrench that can. Hope when you land one you'll post on our Registry linked below. Enjoy.

welcome. im over on the east side in augusta. haven't dealt with any dealers. the forum provides tons of how to's and tech articles and mod stuff too

Southeast Motorcycle also has the Aprilla, Vespa, and Moto Guzzi dealer in Savannah. I was just there last week (Savannah) negioating for a V7. Straight forward sales staff, no BS.

how was the inventory?
Surprisingly full, considering you don’t see any Moto Guzzis around here. Maybe eight V7 (one Special Edition), & couple of V85 TT adventure bikes. Didn’t see any V100 Mandellos. But, the sales mgr indicated they also have access to the inventory at their Atlanta store. Compare this to my next closest MG dealer in Jacksonville, FL - they had one V7 and one V85.

There was a dealer in Charleston, SC last I checked, closer than FL
Edit: They quit already but they still show Charlotte.
