Looking for ride buddies in Northern VA. I just got a V7II, would like to ride with others here and there. I am an experienced rider, 47 years of age. Weekend rides on the many great roads in the nearby area. Anyone else out there?
 
I am sure there are a few. The wife and I are out in the skinny part of Maryland, to the north and west of you.
I don't ride down your way, the cops are nuts and the photo tickets almost as bad.
But if you are going to be out our way feel free to let us know. We aren't big on group rides, I have had a few bad experiences with them, but it never hurts to ask.
I don't know if you are familiar with the roads to the west, but there are some awesome roads in the hills (mountains) out this way. Just the other day I was just heading out US 50 to Oakland, Md. and then back on the north side of the Potomac. It was like riding in a postcard.
