G'day all from a recent sign up to this forum.
I live in Batemans Bay (south coast NSW) and I own a 2009 model 1200 Sport 8V, which I bought last year. Thanks to the 'Rona, I haven't had much of a chance to get out and ride much, but I've had a bit of maintenance and repair work done during the down time.
Thanks for having me aboard and take care,
Steve.

Great pic, almost as good as the view from O'briens Hotel. (the pub with a Million dollar view).

I just joined 😎 this is La Borgia & we live mid North Coast of NSW. Just did Taree - Gloucester run 🥶🥶🥶 My first decent run on her and I am in love with this machine. My other bike is in shop, awaiting parts from Italy, a Benelli R160. It's basically a naked SBK. This though is a concourse classic shafty, endless torque, so looong! Sweepers are a swoon🙂 It's such a pleasure to ride and just pulls effortlessly in all 5 gears. To me it is the pinnacle of old school tech b4 electronics.

Those 8Valve 1200Sports never made it to Canada. You guys are lucky!:sweating:
My Guzzi, La Borgia 😉 , is an 1100 Sport & as a '95 model she's the very last of the carburettor line. She features del'orto 40mm carbs. The next edition went to 1100i. A few guys have reco'd flat side carbs like say Mikuni but eh. Aluminium, mine are brass 😌 (like mah balls 🤠). I'm lucky too as this is an import to Oz from Japan and had only 27 (now 28) 000 km on the clock with ORIGINAL Moto Guzzi stamped pipes! Such a note 🎵🎶🎼. Greg.

That’s a lovely motorcycle. Medic Andy here has at last count, 8 or 9, 1100 Sports. SEARCH his post and you will see them. They are all pristine works of art that he rides.

Welcome!

Select SEARCH. In the “By:” box, put in MedicAndy and his posts will pop up.

This one has several pictures.

Darwin? Where men wear pantyhose...to swim😅. O'course, it's to protect them from a DIFFERENT type of Man o' War, eh? I've just bought property in the Northern Territory at Tennant Creek, half way between Alice & Darwin. How's Brandon???🤣
