Well I finally got around to installing these Motrax bar end mirrors. I have to say I am extremely pleased. They went on with NO fuss at all. I simply removed the bar end weights and bolted them right into the same holes. I get absolutely NO vibration (unless I am just idling at a stop light). The view behind me is fabulous. With the stock mirrors I could only see beside me and would have to suck in my elbows to see behind me. I get a totally unobstructed view with these. It also unclutters the handlebars by removing the stock chrome mirrors. Bit more Hooliganesque. AND they were CHEAP CHEAP $50 for the pair from cyclegear.com

I highly recommend them.

I have heated grips and they don't have the end weights. Sure would like to find a way to install the mirrors. I have the same problem that you can't see a thing behind you unless yuo pull in your arms.

I bought a pair of these

when I passed Mandello last September. They are the Norge-mirrors (I think). Agostini's were out of the black 1200 Sport-ones, which would have been nicer. And very much cheaper.
The rear view is slightly better than the original round black ones - less arm viewing - and the vibrations not really as bad.
Mostly cosmetics, tho'

I've seen various similar bar end mirrors that incorporate bar end weights, price range £35 to £65 a pair depending on quality, mirror size & choice of finish. And if you shop around you can get heated grips that are open ended to accept mirrors and/or weights.
