I'm sure we'll likely join the SoCalNorton guys again for the Ride of the Roses this year on New Year's Eve Day in Pasadena.

However, anyone interested in a LAR (Long Ass Ride) on New Year's Day? Thinking of spending the day riding around N. San D. county like a few years back. Epic day for those who went, and the videos showed. ;) Who's in?

Me.
Sure would like stopping at Jilberto's for lunch (or at least a snack). Some of the best tacos I've ever had...

Yeah, it's on 76, just a stand, across from one of the indian casinos, and just east of Rancho Corrido campground. I always have gotten 1 carne asada and 1 carnitas. They're great. Part of the *fun* is shooing away the flies & bees while scarfing 'em down at one of the picnic tables.

Can't do that one-- I'll be in Budapest on New Year's Eve and flying into Milano on New Years Day. Thinking about a drive up to Mandello on the 2nd. Woo hoo.

So, note below who is in for the Pasadena NYE Ride... and who's in for the NYED Ride.

I might take the pasadena ride on my eldo, the LAR to Sandiego will require a bit of fiddling with the breva or griso to have a bike for the ride

Would like to do both, certainly have wheels available, if weather is decent. Do have NY Eve Party to go to, but would be willing to attempt an early escape from same assuming NY Day start isn't TOO brutally early.

As you can remember Todd, it's starting to get a bit nippy here on the right coast. Riding is starting to raper off. Sure would be nice for you to post the videos of your old New Year's rides again for those long cold, grey days, when one can use some motivation. And of course it goes with out saying to try and shoot this year as well.

To those going on the NYD ride. Better dress warm and keep an eye open for the slippery stuff.

These images were taken from my front yard in Cathedral City.

Sorry folks, beat y'all to it about two weeks ago. :)

Weather was a lot warmer then.

I might be in for the Pasadena ride, if it doesn't start too damn early.

What is the predicted meeting time in Pasadena?

-Jack

Ok, I can make the ride on the 31st.
Jeanne is working 1/2 day and when she gets home we are heading to Pioneer Town for my birthday celebration at Pappy & Harriets.

Bib told me that the departure time from Burger Continental is 10am. I'll be getting there around 8 for breakfast & tire kicking.

Maybe you might see me there. I have a friend who lives across the street from Pioneer Town
