Next SoCal V7/9 Ride - Where to and when?

Memorial Day Weekend Ride! — Saturday May 29, 2021

OK last minute post, but ~ V7/V9 ride is taking place on Saturday (today).

We're doing an EPIC Angeles Crest Highway ride on Saturday, heading up the ACH starting at the base in La Cañada ~ with a scenic detour to the Mt Wilson Telescopes ~ a stop at Newcomb's Ranch to gawk at all the bike and cars and to ham it up a bit, culminating in a ride through to Wrightwood with all the stunning views and vistas in between.

Ride ends in Wrightwood. Head home as works best for you, BUT some of us will be heading back to the base of ACH via Valyermo and Angeles Forest Highway to pick up another set of primo twisties on the back side of the mountain.

Meet up at Little Flower Cafe in Pasadena at 10:45 AM
(1424 W Colorado Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91105)
Kick stands up at 11:00

PM me if you're going to come and/or reply below

Am interested, would need to move schedule around a bit. So am a possible. Would also be off brand today.

Thanks for the post Chris! Gabe, your fork kit was set to arrive yesterday (it didn't of course). But soon.
Enjoy guys... too last minute for me.

Chris, good to meet you at the shop last week. Regrettably we missed the ride it looks beautiful! Look forward to catching you guys on the next one!

New V7 ride — Saturday July 17, 2021

We'll be doing Angeles Crest Hwy with a climb up to the top of Mt Wilson, then on to Newcomb's before heading back down: taking in Upper Big Tujunga, Angeles Forest and then lower ACH until we're back at the base of the mountain.

Slow to moderate pace ~ just out to enjoy the scenery from the seat of Moto Guzzi!

Meet up at Little Flower Cafe on Colorado Blvd. in Pasadena at 8:00.

Meetup Sunday - Shell at the 210 FWY & Hwy 39 (N Azusa Ave). KSU 8AM. Bring any bike. Route is Hwy 39 up, Mt Baldy down, Glendora Mtn Rd up Hwy 39 down, Baldy up & Glendora Mtn Rd down. Enough stops (each time down) to be comfortable. Three going so far, they're not slow but they're not lightening fast either. Some roads are narrow with no center divider line, lots of tight turns + don't receive the best maintenance so that should keep us in check. Somewhat. Will wait at turns for riders to catch up. Last run for my OEM tires on a '22 V7. :)
There's a good chance I can make it

Hope you guys have a great ride!
What's the weather going to be like?
How many people have signed up and what kind of bikes?

Cheers,
Christopher
