Escape the seasonal festivities/wife/husband/girlfriend/boyfriend/kids/in-laws/distant relatives/mind-numbing TV (delete as appropriate) and come along to this informal meet which closes the 2022 events season.

The meet starts at 11.00am.

There’s no charge for parking or for entrance to the museum shop and foyer food court.

Come on a motorcycle, or in a car, all makes and types are welcome.

The National Motorcycle Museum is located on Junction 6 of the M42 (A45) directly opposite the NEC.

Cabin Fever 2022 at the National Motorcycle Museum was a great way to end the year. It certainly blew away the cobwebs! Despite wet and windy conditions there was a decent turnout of machines. Thankfully the roads were salt free.

There was 1 Buell XB9R Firebolt, 1 BMW, 1 Triumph and 6 Moto Guzzis. A total of 21 people attended the meet. Many thanks to everyone who attended.

We used our V85TT for the 235-mile round trip. This was the first time since buying it in July 2019 that we’ve used it two up. We were very impressed with how it handled but Jane mentioned it wasn’t as comfortable for a pillion as our 2008 Buell XB12X Ulysses.

Biggest surprise of the day was seeing Alan arrive on his new V100 Mandello. Showing just 285 miles, it is one of the first batch of V100’s to be registered in the UK. Alan took delivery in early December.

Congrats on the event!
Do you have Alan’s info to see if he’ll join in and add his info (as the first) to the Registry below? Best to everyone to a solid New Year.
